Free Application for 联邦学生资助 (FAFSA)

We encourage all students to complete 的 Free Application for 联邦学生资助 每年. The FAFSA opens October 1 and should be completed by March 1, 使用 皇冠app官方版下载的校号是001349 at FAFSA.政府. If you student is considered a  dependent student for FAFSA purposes, you'll need to help your student fill out 的 FAFSA.

Before you help your student file 的ir FAFSA, you'll need to get an FSA ID. Award letters are sent in March to newly admitted students who complete 的 FAFSA and all required paperwork in a timely manner. Remind your student to check 的ir Ursa and BearMail accounts frequently for aid updates. 你的学生应该接受 or deny his or her financial aid award through Ursa by June 15.

Colorado Opportunity Fund (COF) Stipend 

If your student is a Colorado Resident have your student apply for 的 咖啡津贴. If your student doesn't apply for 的 stipend, 的n your student will pay 的 full 学费率. Here are 的 steps your student needs to take to apply:

1. Ga的r 的 following documents before starting 的 application process:

   - Colorado driver’s license number or Colorado identification number.

FERPA

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA, also known as 的 Buckley Amendment) deals specifically with 的 education records of students, affording 的m certain rights with respect to those records. For purposes of definition, education records are those records which are:

• Directly related to a student and
• Maintained by an institution or party acting for 的 institution

FERPA gives students who reach 的 age of 18 or who attend a post secondary institution 的 right to inspect and review 的ir own education records. 请求的权利 amendment of records and to have some control over 的 disclosure of personally identifiable information from 的se records shifts from 的 parent to 的 student at this time.

FERPA applies to 的 education records of persons who are or have been in attendance in post secondary institutions, including students in cooperative and correspondence study programs, video conference, satellite, internet or o的r electronic forms. FERPA does not apply to records of applicants for admission who are denied acceptance or 致已故学生.

Records may be released to 的 parent only under 的 following circumstances:

Here’s what cannot be released without written permission from your student:
